This morning one of the first things Jenelle said to me was "It's National Lady Gaga Day." I'm not sure what exactly that entails, but it kind of sounds like the best day ever. So in honor of our favorite performance artist extraordinaire, I give you Gaga style:
Like most great ideas I have, the one for this post came from Oprah. More specifically, from the Oprah Show I watched yesterday in which she highlighted the documentary "Food, Inc.," Michael Pollan and his new book Food Rules, Alicia Silverstone and her new book The Kind Diet, and Chipotle founder Steve Ells. Each had slightly different takes on what a sustainable, kind, healthy, and conscious diet looks like, but they all stressed that final point. It is CONSCIOUS.
It seems airplanes are everywhere lately, from the Oscar contender GQ deemed "movie of the moment" to the unexpected print on some of our Lush mini-skirts.
I realize I'm a bit behind the bandwagon on this, but I recently started watching "The Tudors" (Thank you, Netflix). I love the costumes and production design, with its rich colors, antiqued metals, and ornate crest designs.
The other week a TI staff meeting took a turn toward Print Talk, and I haven't been so lost since last trying to dissect a Tyraism on "America's Next Top Model." And I stopped trying to do that a long time ago. It went a little like this:
