I have never encountered a more well-dressed city than Tokyo (from which I just returned on Wednesday). I was inspired and in awe of the way Japanese people look effortlessly put together even when bundled up against the chilly winds of winter in gorgeous coats, scarves, and footwear.
I realize I'm a bit behind the bandwagon on this, but I recently started watching "The Tudors" (Thank you, Netflix). I love the costumes and production design, with its rich colors, antiqued metals, and ornate crest designs.
I've always been pretty minimalist when it comes to jewelry---excepting that phase in high school when Mary-Kate Olsen was looking especially bohomeless and I piled the bangles on.
