MY CURRENT OBSESSION - The Statement Necklace (by Lo Jo)

I've always been pretty minimalist when it comes to jewelry---excepting that phase in high school when Mary-Kate Olsen was looking especially bohomeless and I piled the bangles on. But in light of our upcoming Twisted Silver clearance sale and the spirit of New Year's Eve glam, I thought I'd cover the STATEMENT NECKLACE.

INSPIRATION:

I love the piece because it can still be minimalist--when worn without earrings or chunky bracelets that might compete with it. I also think it looks great when gussying up a tee (as shown above on Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson), because the contrasting combination of casual and dressy brings an unexpected balance to a look.
