Eriko Yamada

Eriko Yamda was born and raised in Japan. In 2004, she moved out to San Francisco to study art and is currently still living there and making dope things. Visit her website at here, and her blog here.

"My artwork is based on Japanese mythology and folklore. After I moved to the US, living in a completely different environment made me appreciate my own culture more and more. I wanted to express my feelings about the past and the present I have witnessed. we are losing a lot of good qualities we used to have, and that's something that we should never forget about."
