For as long as I can remember I’ve been creating on some kind of level. Being creative was just something I did out of habit, like breathing. I’m interested in a wide range of styles, from the surreal to the realistic. What attracts me is art that is moody, almost foreboding in nature, that’s a bit on the “dark” side. My art makes a statement: We need to pay more attention to the world around us. We need to stand up to the powers that be and voice our displeasure with the way things are. That love, understanding, and compassion are the ways to a better place for our children. That hatred and fear mongering won’t accomplish anything. That although sometimes war is necessary, it should be the last necessity. My inspiration for these designs comes from the quotes within them, from the men and women who first said or wrote them. I hope my designs inspire you to think beyond the shirt it’s printed on.
